December + Christmas=Long Post!

Merry Christmas!!!!! I know I'm late posting but I have been super busy. Having a baby and trying to keep the same pace of pre baby during the holidays has kept my head spinning! So here goes.........I will try to keep the wording short and sweet because there are tons of photos (what can I say......Nico's 1st Christmas)

Our tree

Nico helping us decorate....he loved the lights!
After 4 different Christmas tree lots we found the right tree!

Nico with his cousin Bryson.

Nico meeting Santa for the first time.

The Healds joined us and it was too fun. I think this will be an annual tradition now. Meghan has a great picture of the kids seeing Santa that hopefully she will email me and I will post soon.

Getting ready to meet Santa for the first time.

The Healds then came for dinner and Nico and Hannah loved pushing the wagon together!

Nico turns 9 months! I will post his 10 month pictures soon and post his latest developments as well!

Yes at 9 months the blocks still taste good!

We had a rough few weeks.....Nico ended up on antibiotics for 1o days and is doing so much better......we finally kicked the two month cough! Looks sick in this pic.

Opening his first Christmas present........this is from Auntie Sarah........he loved opening gifts!

His big boy 4 wheeler that he got from his Auntie Ashley and cousin Bryson.

We hosted our 5th annual family Christmas party. As always we have so much fun with the family and look forward to celebrating the holidays with everyone! This year we did a true white elephant gift exchange and boy did we laugh!

A few of the attendees-Sani, RobMichele, John and Ryan.

My Dad with my Uncle Bill enjoying a holiday drink!

Marc with his Dad enjoying our signature cocktail-cranberry margarita!

Family photo opp before the party began!

Lexi, Marc, Lucas and I

It would not be a Christmas party if we didn't carol towards the end of the night.......this year we had to have a competition.......boys vs. girls...........girls came up with the better songs but boys had better costumes!

After the Christmas party we headed to the Madrona Manor to the Dickens dinner. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the caroling.

Nico loved the Christmas tree..........

Christmas this year we headed to Stockton to spend it with Marc's family. We had a wonderful time but I do think we will evaluate the traveling over the holidays in the future. It is very hard with a little one.....so well see what next year brings. I think we might be home for the holidays!

Christmas eve we went to Zia Anna's.......Nico had fun opening gifts and hangn with his cousins!

Family photo opp on Christmas Eve.

Getting ready for bed........I see that these p.j.'s were a hot item this year as a few of my girlfriends babies had the same one's.....I agree the cutest bottoms in the whole entire world!

Christmas morning with his cousins Stevie and Marco.........

Oh and Santa came to visit Nico..........he was really excited......super cute!

I was a good girl and Santa came to visit me (I know for some of you this is a shock!).............2009 was full of many first so Nico(I think he might have had an elf to help him:-) made a poster of all the many firsts that we had.............below the poster was a bunch of gifts for the future firsts that we will have...........(i.e. tissue for the first day of school and zout for the first sporting event). Marc was so thoughtful and generous......I really appreciated it.

Rita's beautiful table

Random photo that I thought I would share........Nico's favorite hang out........he stands up on the dishwasher in about 10 seconds.

We feel so lucky to have such great family and friends. This holiday season was such a special one for us and we look forward to many more holidays with our little guy!
