Our little pumpkin...

at the pumpkin patch. On Saturday we took Nico to the Peter Pumpkin Patch in Petaluma. I used to work for Spring Hill Cheese and every year they have a pumpkin patch.....so it was only appropriate to head to my old stomping grounds. Nico had so much fun at the pumpkin patch. As always, Larry and Diane were extremely generous and we had a wonderful afternoon. Enjoy the pictures of Nico's first trip to the pumpkin patch.

The sweetest pumpkin in the whole world!
Thanks Larry and Diane for the GREAT day!

This year they had stage coach rides........Larry insisted that I sit on the top. I was a nervous wreck.......for those of you that don't know, I have had my episodes with horses so I don't exactly trust them too much. .......but I survived and had a wonderful time.

Proud Grandpa with Nico and all the Pumpkins

The whole gang.........Grammy, Grandpa, Bopa and Grand Auntie

Too Much Fun!

We couldn't leave the farm without sitting on the tractor!

Petting the baby calf.......Nico loved the animals

Nico doesn't look like he is having very much fun in this picture but trust me he had so much fun that he is ready for a nap!

Can't wait for next year!

7 Months

Nico turned 7 months last week. Once again, I can't believe my little baby is growing up SO fast. Nico is now a crawling machine. He is extremely busy (I don't know where he gets that from:-). I'm just now putting away his 3-6 month clothing and he is pretty much only wearing 6 months. He has 3 teeth on the bottom and there are signs that his top front teeth are quickly approaching. Nico still loves to be outside and loves for me to read to him. He can now entertain himself better because he can get to where he wants to go...less frustration. Our once wonderful sleeper has had a tough couple of weeks. He has been getting up at least once if not twice in the middle of the night..........we can't complain too much since he still sleeps 12 hours in total at night. We think the abnormal sleep patterns are due to teething and growth spurts. He still only takes 2-3 30 min cat naps during the day. His outdoor swimming lessons are finished and he has now begun baby sign language class. He pulls himself up on everything, is extremely aware of his surroundings and knows exactly what he wants. Who would have thought a 7 month old would A, know what they want and B, could throw a fit when they don't get what they want. Nico definitely has found his voice and says Dada and Hi.........although I don't think he realizes what he is saying. He is still extremely happy and quite the ham for photos. Nico's favorite part of the day is bath time! He is eating three meals a day........his favorite food is yogurt!

Here are a few pics from last week's 7 month photo session. It's getting really hard to take these photo's with the blocks.

Here I go MOM

SLO, Marc turns 30, and Gianna turns1!

We headed to SLO two weeks ago to show our cousin Lucas Cal Poly. We have been selling Cal Poly for years and it was finally our opportunity to show him the beautiful town and campus. We also were prepping Nico for 18 years from now.......poor child........he may not have a choice :-) Marc and I had a wonderful time reminiscing about the good ole days and checking out all the additions to campus. Below are a few fun pictures from the weekend.

Now for those of you who know Warren know that he isn't exactly into babies......(he likes them when they can talk) yet he continues to amaze Sharon and I about what he will do for Nico.....he has definitely softened with age........below is a shot of Warren pushing Nico in the stroller. This is the first day we were in SLO and this became his job all weekend........too funny!

and if he didn't have Nico in the stroller he had all the gear for Nico!

This past weekend I hosted Marc's 30th birthday.......we had our dear friends and family come from near and far to celebrate! We appreciated everyone traveling the distance to help celebrate.

It was a party weekend-Saturday after Marc's party we headed to Gianna Bordessa 1st Birthday party. It was so much fun to see everyone and we can't believe Gianna is already 1!

Nico and Avery were born on the same day.........they enjoyed playing in the balls together!

Finally we got a picture of Nico with Jordan and Sheri. We didn't get one over Labor Day but they joined us for brunch Saturday after Marc's party.
Lot's more to come......slowly but surely I'm getting updated!
